Laptops - Which one to buy?

Buying a Computer can be really cumbersome! Correct me, if I am wrong. Buying laptops is more difficult because you get it at a price higher than a Regular Desktop. So, you would want it to work the way you need it to. Markets have laptops tagged at INR.16,000 (approx.) to lacs! Buying or precisely, selecting one among this vast selection can be a "pain in the back!" Basically, what this guide will do is help you find the best Laptop for your purpose. While we won't be talking much about a specific model, I will just list down some things to be taken care of while buying one.

Purpose
First thing is to decide what would you use the Rig for! For eg:- if you want it for Gaming, then you'd better go for Dell Alienware, as they are specially customized for Hardcore Gaming. Whereas, if you assume your Laptop to be an Alienware and game it for hours, it might burn the Motherboard which ends up in an expensive Motherboard Replacement. So, before buying a Laptop; fix your purpose and while using the Laptop keep your main purpose in mind!

Budget & Listing
Next thing is to fix your Budget. This is really important as you might get confused when you see the large range of laptops in front of you. If you're not sure of what the Laptops for your purpose price like, just search on sites like eBay and get an estimate of the Price. Now, search for other laptops in the same range. Just make a list of the Laptops that suit you. The Budget's negotiability is completely on you. But, it can be of great help if you make the Budget's value a "constant."

Comparison & Review
After the list is made, just check the Reviews and Comparisons available on the Web. To check for Reviews, just type the Model number of your Laptop with the word Review at the end. For comparison, Google the Model Numbers with a "vs" in between. After comparing, try to decrease the number of Laptops in the list to 4 or 5! Keep researching until you have only one name on top of the List!

Known Issues & Warranty
Just get familiar with the known issues that your No.1 Laptop has. For eg:- some laptops esp. HP(some models) have the problem of overheating, which as said earlier usually ends in an expensive Motherboard Replacement. So, if you find such an issue go for the Laptop in No.2 or if you want to stick to the same Laptop get an idea of all the precautions to be taken to avoid these issue[s]. About the Warranty, get familiar with the Terms and Conditions and if possible, get an extended Warranty!

That's all for now, but if you need any help, don't forget to comment!
